Esri Maps for Microsoft Office

Posted by: Niklas    Tags:  ESRI, office    Posted date:  February 27, 2012  |  No comment

Esri announced the release of a new MS Office add-in.
With the add-in the user can easily create dynamic, interactive maps of his Excel information and start exploring hisr data in a whole new way.
The process of creating a map in Excel is painless, and is much the same as creating a graph or chart of your data. Maps can be shared immediately through PowerPoint presentations or by one-click publishing to Esri’s mapping cloud, ArcGIS Online.

At this time the add-in is in beta stage. It will be available in public beta the first half of 2012, so if you want to participate, just fill your contact information in the end of the page of this link.
We will keep you informed for the add-in releases.
