AeroMetric Provides High Accuracy Mapping for the Seattle Seawall

AeroMetric recently completed High Accuracy Mappingservices for the City of Seattle’s high profile Elliott Bay Seawall Project. AeroMetric provided low altitude, high-accuracy mapping of the project area and existing wall. Our team’s helicopter captured over 50 acres of high-density LiDAR data flying at 1,000 feet altitude. Coverage extended from the edge of Elliott Bay to Western Avenue, and from Bell Street in the north to King Street in the south. AeroMetric has upgraded two of its Z/I Imaging Digital Mapping Camera (DMC) sensors.  The upgrades replace the sensors original hard drives with a state-of-the-art solid state system, enhancing reliability and portability. State of Kansas Awards Contract to AeroMetric
